Dental Assistant

“I was born in Portland, OR. When I was six years old, my entire family moved to Fruitland, ID. My parents love moving around, so we lived in Fruitland, Meridian, Star, and Nampa. Then there was the time that we made a cross-country trip to Minneapolis, MN and lived there for a year. I grew up in a Russian-speaking household; my parents immigrated from Russia in the ‘80s. I speak English, Russian, and a little Ukrainian. I have three siblings; one sister and two younger brothers.”

Why did you choose dentistry?
“Two of my aunts are dental hygienists, and they both told me they could see me doing well in the dental field. I’ve always loved teeth and the idea of working in a dental office. I went to school at Milan Institute and instantly knew that this was the right path for me. I worked at a pediatric office straight out of school and then, after a few years, moved on to a general practice. I love having the opportunity of learning something new every day and continuing my education through dental courses.”

What’s the best part of your job?
“I love working with families, from kids to adults to grandparents. The transformations in people’s lives, just from the effect of a straight smile or the effect of a healthy mouth for the first time in someone’s life. The joy is inspiring.”

What aspect of your personality adds the most value to the office?
“I have an outgoing, bubbly personality that works well with others. I enjoy taking on new tasks and staying organized. I love helping people and being there when our patients need me most. “

What do you do outside the office?
“I got married to my best friend in July 2020, and it’s been the best life decision I’ve ever made! My husband and I enjoy anything outdoors. In the summertime, we enjoy going to the lake, taking hikes in our beautiful mountains, and playing a lot of volleyball with our friends. In the winter, we like to go skiing and snowboarding and then soak in one of the many wild hot springs Idaho has.”

What’s one item on your bucket list?
“Going to Europe for a backpacking trip with my husband.”

What would be the theme song of your life?
“Put Your Head on My Shoulder by Paul Anka”

Kaytlin Clark

Bio: Kaytlin was born and raised in Idaho, and loves doing all things outdoors. Her favorite outdoor activities include trail running, camping, floating the river, exploring new places, and four wheeling. You can also find her with a book in her hand, crocheting, or baking. She found a passion for dentistry on accident, but has been loving her dental assisting career since 2016. Kaytlin joined the Army reserves in 2020, and is stationed at Gowen Field. She married her husband in 2022, and they are expecting their first child in spring of 2024. Kaytlin strives to make her patients smile, feel comfortable and confident, and want to return to the office. She takes pride in her patient connections, and loves the people that she has met along the way.

Why did you choose dentistry?: She chose dentistry on a whim, wanting to go back to school, but unsure what she wanted to pursue. She excelled in class, and found that she was completely driven by learning about dentistry, and all the cool and ever changing aspects of treating patients. Having dabbled in all aspects of dentistry, (general, oral surgery, implants, front office, treatment coordinating, etc), she still learns new things every day, and continues to be enthralled by new technology.

What's an interesting fact about yourself?: Kaytlin considers herself a forever student, and is always willing to learn something new. She actively seeks out opportunities to grow and learn a new skill. She loves becoming a master of a task, and can find excitement in just about any new topic.

Stacy Page

Bio: My husband and I recently moved back to our home town of Boise. We love the outdoor life here and that we are close to family again.

I have been in the dental field for 26 years and love helping my patients with any questions they may have.

Why did you choose dentistry?: I chose the dental field because I like helping people and in this job I get to do it every day.

What's an interesting fact about yourself: My husband and I have six grown boys and five grandchildren. Our favorite thing to do is hang out with them hiking and camping.

Karyn Field

Outside office: I love to cook, read travel and golf. My husband and I enjoy destination golf vacations! I enjoy spending time with family and friends creating new memories.

Aspect of personality: I am very detail oriented and driven which helps when dealing with insurance companies as well as performing my tasks in a timely manner.

Why did you choose dentistry: I noticed an ad for a dental office looking to train a dental assistant. I was fortunate to be offered the job and have loved all aspects of dentistry since! I have been in the dental field as both an assistant and front office since 1981

What is best part about our job: I love helping people understand their dental needs and providing financial information in order to help them achieve their goals.

About you: I am originally from Utah but have lived in Idaho since 1982. I am the youngest girl of three and have one brother. My children Bryan and Macaile are my greatest accomplishment. I have a beautiful daughter-in-law Michelline and two wonderful grandchildren Avery and Axton. I married my soulmate and best friend Jon in 2013 and have never been happier.

My dad is my hero. In the short 20 years I was lucky enough to have him in my life, he taught me to have a strong work ethic and show kindness to everyone. He was always looking for ways to make everyone in his life feel better about themselves and dream big!

I lived in San Carlos, Mexico for a couple of years and learned to love the culture and people of Mexico. My husband and I plan to retire part time in Puerto Vallarta.

Treatment Coordinator

”I was born and raised in Boise. Winter is my favorite season, with fall being a close second. I grew up snowmobiling and, later in life, started snowboarding. I’ve been married since 2015 and have two kids; they are my world. I grew up playing soccer and, when I got older, played softball, which I still play every once in a while. I’ve been in dentistry since 2012, where I started as an assistant and, once I had my first son in 2018, I started working up front.”

Why did you choose dentistry?
“I chose dentistry because the first thing I look at when looking at a person is their smile. A smile can light up any room and make anyone’s day just a little bit better. I want people to love smiling, and being able to help create that light in someone brings so much joy to me.”

What’s the best part of your job?
“The best part of my job is seeing people leave happy with the way their teeth look.”

What do you do outside the office?
“I spend a lot of time with my family. We love to go to the rodeo as much as possible, farmstead, and monster jam. In the summer and springtime, we like to get outside and go hiking.”

What’s one item on your bucket list?
“My dream vacation is Norway.”

Allison Hunter

Bio: I am originally from Huntington Beach, CA, and have worked in the dental field since 2004 starting as a RDA, then a Surgical Tech, and now in the front office. I am the proud wife to my amazing husband, Kevin, mother of two incredible sons, Ryan and Blaine, and dog-mom to our sweet-as-can-be rescues, Miikka and Tail. My family and I lived in San Antonio, TX for the last five years where my husband was able to retire from the Air Force after 24 years of service. We recently relocated to the Treasure Valley in the Summer of 2023 and have loved every part of our newest adventure.

Why did you choose dentistry?: The reason I chose dentistry was because I was so fortunate to have an amazing pedodontist teach me the importance of oral hygiene and taking care of my smile at a young age. Every time I came in the office, I was greeted with warmth and laughter. It didn’t hurt I always came home with a toy too. Having that as the foundation of my experiences, going to school for my RDA was an easy choice.

What's an interesting fact about yourself?: An interesting fact about me is I love to travel. Whether it’s within the states or overseas, my family and I are always planning our next vacation. I am also an avid reader. Any free time I get is usually spent with my nose in a book. Lastly, I am a huge MLB fan and hope to one day visit every major league ballpark. Go Angels!!
